On Monday, Camden had his 6 month well-baby check-up. Camden has grew 2 inches and is now 25.5 inches long. He's in the 50th percentile in length. His head circumference has grown an inch and is now 16.5 inches and is the 50th percentile for head circumference. As for weight he is the 25th percentile weighing 14 lbs. 5 oz. which is only a few oz. heavier than his 4 month check-up. Dr. Cullen didn't seem to be worried too much as he has doubled his weight at 6 months. Doc did say that he'd like to see Camden eat a little more at a setting and eat a little less often. And, he thought Camden should be sleeping through the night now without a snack. Almost a week later we are still attempting to increase feedings as Camden doesn't seem to want more than 4-5 oz. at each feeding and still wants to eat every 4 hours or so. He did sleep from about 10 pm last night until 6:30 am this morning after having a little cereal before bed. So, I guess we'll continue with that ritual. This week Camden gets his shots again and we'll go to see how we are doing on weight gain.
We didn't do anything too exciting this week as Austin had a busy week at work with class and meetings. Camden and I got to spend a few evenings together - just the two of us. It was nice not having to share Camden with Daddy, but we sure did miss him!
Aunt Allie came home this weekend to visit. During her visit, Aunt Allie, Nana, and Great-Grandma E. watched Camden while Mommy printed photos at CVS and made a quick, much needed trip to Wal-mart. This also allowed Daddy to help Pappy get some work done at the farm. By the way, Pappy is getting around much better than last weekend. His ribs are healing, but he still isn't able to return to work just yet. Camden has been lucky to have both Nana and Pappy at home watching him this week while Mommy and Daddy worked!
Here is photo update from this week!

hey there Bethany! It was nice to hear a comment from ya. I added your blog to my list:) Congrats on your little one. He is such a cute little boy. Your family looks precious. Hope things are going good!
I've really enjoyed reading your blog and it gives Jess and I an idea of what's to come in our little one's development. However I find it pretty amusing that our little men are 4+ months apart and my Jack already weighs 13 1/2 lbs and is 24 1/2 in long! We're catching up! I'm so jealous of Camden sleeping through the night! I'm ready for that!
i'm not saying it's the "best" way, but aspen is STILL only taking 5oz at the max and eating at least every 4hrs!!! if you figure out how to fix that let me know!!!
Let me know if you figure out how to spread out your feedings! We still eat every 3 hours. Love the pumpkin t !
