It Has Been Awhile........

It sure has been some time since the last post. As I think about what I want to say, well, I don't even know where to start. The last few weeks have been crazy. This past week I actually worked 40 hours, and I'm so thankful I don't have to do that every week. You mommies that work 40 hours a week outside of the home are Super Mommies in my book. This past week Camden has been fighting an ear infection and upper respiratory infection. He started his very first antibiotics last week - you know, the bubble gum kind. He loves it and thinks it a morning and evening candy treat. We've got three more treat times left and then we'll have to revert back to ice cream. Did I mention how grateful I am for my mom this week? My mom was so much help this week in taking care of Camden, helping with my house chores, and feeding my family while I was at work this week.

I hate to admit that lately I haven't taken too many photos - I need to get back on that soon! Here are some samples of what I have taken lately.

Year End Is Almost Complete

SAIC's fiscal year-end will officially be over tomorrow at noon, and I will be so very relieved. Well, I have reporting that is due on Monday at noon, but at least the hustle and bustle of all last minute entries will be completed tomorrow.

Tomorrow marks the year-end month for my little guy. Camden turns 11 months old tomorrow, and we have only a few more weeks until he will turn 1. This year has definitely been the best and most rewarding year of my life - I almost hate to see it end. However, I do look forward to what the future holds for my little Cam Cam. Each day he is learning something new and constantly keeps up on our toes with lots of smiles and laughs. Some new things he has accomplished this month is the Army crawl - it is kind of sad how he gets around like a little wounded soldier. Another is that he will wave bye bye - usually after we've already went out the door and are no longer looking at the person we were saying bye bye to. He likes to eat anything and everything - sock lint is his new favorite snack as he kind the smallest piece on the floor. He loves to watch "The Wiggles" with Nana (it is a crazy show). And, he definitely can get around in his walker especially in reverse. We are gearing up for the Big One party. I'm trying to make the decorations with my Cricut machine, so we'll see how everything turns out.

I'm looking for my favorite book.
And, I found it!

I'm gonna get those pigs!
All ten of them!

Mom, look what I found in this basket of goodies - my paci!

I better go. I hear Austin or Camden snoring in my bedroom - not sure which one. Tomorrow will be a busy one. We plan to finish up our Valentine's Day card and Birthday decorations. Of course we'll have to mix in a little cleaning and laundry. We hope everyone has a nice weekend and we'll catch up with you again next week if not sooner!

Heavy Heart

Last weekend as I was catching up on my blog reading, I have come across 4 blogs that have saddened me. If urge all of you to take the time and read the blogs under the "Faith, Hope, and Inspiration" heading on my blog. I assure you that you will be touched in many ways. You will also have a renewed outlook on the most important things in life.
