knock, knock, knock

It is no secret that I'm not an outdoorsy person. Austin and Camden, on the other hand, would prefer the outdoors over indoors any day. So, generally when they are outdoors I take the time to blog, process photos, scrapbook, or sew as this is the time I am most likely not to be interrupted.

Today, each time I sat down on in the recliner, propped up my feet, got situated with my Mac, and got connected to the Internet and ready to begin blogging, I begin to hear this little knock, knock, knock.

It was so cute, at least the first two times. But the third, fourth, and fifth times - not so cute.

He needed bug spray the first time then a drink the second time. These were legitimate requests I should have thought about on my own. The third, fourth, and fifth time, he needed bug spray again.

"Now, come on Camden, you've only been outdoors for a about 30 minutes top. We don't apply bug spray four times in 30 minutes. In or out? You decide."

He chooses the outdoors.

Heaven help me when he is able to reach the door bell.

Happy Father's Day

Hands-down, without hesitation, this is the most patient, self-less, hard working, consistent, thoughtful, and loving Dad I know. These qualities of fatherhood flows over in his role as a husband. And for this, I'm grateful.

Around Here {16 June}

*i'm a sickie once again

*the garden is being manicured

*vehicles are getting a good scrubbing

*chronic, over-the-top fit throwing

*juggling online education

*modeling Joseph's coat of many colors

We'll do it again tomorrow evening and hopefully I'll be feeling well enough to participate in all the fun.
