Sparkler Frenzy

There is something about boys and fireworks - thank goodness we're still in the sparkler stage.

We Heart Scrapbooking

Camden: "Mom, I love scrapbooking with you."

Me: "Great Cam, I'm glad you enjoy scrapbooking."

You see, any activity that is done at my scrapbook station is scrapbooking (per Camden). It could be organizing photos, painting egg cartons aka "caterpillars", sticking stickers on construction paper, pushing the Cricut buttons, making "bears" with paint and paper plates, and wrapping gifts.

No, I don't want my little boy to grow up scrapbooking girly pages, but I do love that he enjoys spending time with me doing things that I enjoy (have I mentioned I'm not that great at playing tractors and building vehicles and structures with legos?).



Yep, I'm in my PJs (this was a quick little card we made Aunt Allie before Camden spent the weekend with her on her birthday during my recovery). Please don't judge.

Sneak Peak

I promised you a peek into my 2010 Project Life book - a little later than I had expected. But to be honest, I barely had time to eat and sleep last week when I was preparing for be down for 10-14 days. I'm on day #6 and can finally stay awake long enough to work on my digital workflow, check email, and create a few more blog posts to share. For those who aren't aware - I had a tonsillectomy last Thursday and I've been down for the count. Everything I had heard and read about the recovery from this surgery is true - it.is.down.right.brutal. But, I'm still kickin' (and would be screamin' if it were possible).
