had such a great day today. Today was USI Alumni Day at Mesker Zoo (Evansville), so we along with Nana and Pappy left home at about 10 a.m. headed for the zoo. We arrived at the zoo on this sunny day. We saw all kinds of animals, but Camden's favorite was the giraffes. There were two big giraffes that would come right up to the gate so close that we could have petted them. At first Camden was a bit timid; however, when they went away he fussed a bit wanting them to come back. After touring over half of the zoo, we went across the street under a nice big shade tree and enjoyed turkey and ham sandwiches, chips, goldfish crackers, fruit, and PB cookies. What a yummy and relaxing lunch. We finsihed our day by visiting Aunt Allie and having nice dinner at Shylers.
While we probably won't make it back to Mesker Zoo this summer, we plan to visit St. Louis Zoo this summer when visiting Aunt Allie and Uncle Miles after they are married in Cape Girardeau, MO.
Here are some photos of our fun day! Oh, and thank you Nana and Pappy for spending the day with us. We had a great time!

Looks like you had fun. The St. Louis zoo is amazing. We went a couple of years back before a baby and loved it!
