VBS: Gold Rush

A conversation.

Camden: "Mom, I want to go to Bible school tonight."
Me: "Cam, Bible school is over this year. We'll go again next year."
Camden: "But I want to go."
Me: "There is a Bible school in Odon next week and maybe you can go a few nights."
Camden: "I want to go to the Bible school with little ducks."
Me: "We'll see."

Most of the neighborhood kids travel to VBS on their bikes. Camden picked upon this. It is about a mile to church, but we managed to ride our bikes a few nights.

Lately, we've had several conversations like the one above. Camden can't seem to understand "why not?" And, I can't seem to find a good way to explain "why not?" Conversations are beginning to get deep - at the age of 3 - yikes!

Hello! I am not sure if you remember me from playgroup so I don't usually comment, but we are looking for a front rider bike seat for our 2 year old. Camden looks like he is having fun! Can you recommend? Thanks!

I do remember you - long time no see! About the front rider bike seat - we had not used it that much until this Spring and Summer as we did live on a gravel road. It works well and is very sturdy. The only complaint is that Camden's feet are getting too big to fit in the foot holders.
