Fall Is Here..........

The Yake Family is so happy that fall is finally here! It is so nice to go outside and not sweat and not need a coat. This week was a typical week as we didn't have too much going on. Monday and Tuesday after I got home from work and picked up Camden we picked up sticks and limbs in our yard from last Sunday's wind storm, fixed dinner for Daddy, and got ready for bed. Wednesday morning, I took Camden to get his 6 month immunizations. While we were there, I received a pertussis tetanus vaccine (I forget how sore your arm becomes after a tetanus shot). After receiving our vaccinations we went to the grocery at Save-a-Lot to stock up on baby food (for all you moms out there Save-a-lot has Beechnut baby food jars for $.40 which is about $.25 cheaper than Wal-mart or JayC - quite a savings when you buy about 40 jars at a time). Then we went to the park to for our play date. We were few in numbers but had a lot of fun. Camden played at the park for his first time and loved the swing. We took lots of pictures for Daddy and here are just a few!

Thursday I worked and Camden played all day with Nana and Pappy. Grammy and Pappy Yake came over for pizza in the evening. On Friday, Camden and I went with Austin to work. Camden and I make a quick trip to Kohls and Wal-mart during Daddy's office hour and then made a visit to Daddy's co-workers. Then we went to a cook-out at the Bean's for dinner. We had yummy hot dogs over the fire and my favorite - SMORES! I can't seem to get enough of those yummy treats. I think that is why fall is my favorite time of the year.

Today, well, after waking up and feeding Camden I've done 2 loads of laundry, baked a chicken, picked some apples and pears, uploaded pictures to Shutterfly, finished picking up sticks in the yard, and have made 2 pumpkin pies. Oh, and have updated this blog. My folks are coming over for dinner this evening, so I need to run and start peeling potatoes and cleaning the chicken for the chicken casserole. That's all for now.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I am glad you are enjoying the Fall season. It is a 'little cooler' here, just the middle 80s instead of 90s in the past couple of weeks. I have really enjoyed your journal and pictures, especially of Camden. They are GREAT!
